Wow! Totally unexpectedly good! Singapore noodles with a big, spicy flavor, and incredibly fresh. I changed the pork to chicken and the chicken was moist, tender, and flavorful. Obviously had not been sitting around just waiting for someone to throw it in. Shrimp had a nice crisp break to them, and while the dish was powerful in the curry and spice, even my timid palate loved the "just enough" edge. Steamed dumplings as an app were tender but not soggy, and with lively bits of sweet and savory. What an unexpected delight! Wish I lived in Louisville so I could visit weekly but I'll be back with China Bistro 2 at the top of my list for easy and informal eateries in downtown.

Settling in after a five go he return trip from Tennessee...too tired to cook....let's order take out!  We've done the takeout Chinese to its before and while the restaurant we have ordered from was OK we decided to try a different restaurant in hopes of improving on the dishes.  Sometimes you learn to leave good enough alone...this was one of those times.

Ordered a quart of egg drop wonton soup and when we opened the container it was clear the won tons had been omitted.  The soup we received was greasy as well.

The 3 egg rolls we ordered were loudness thin and soggy and in reality they provided only two rather than the 3 ordered.

Shrimp with lobster sauce was passable but over cornstarched.  The spicy broccoli with garlic sauce was tame enough for an infant even tho it was ordered  extra spicy.

Wish I could tell you that the shrimp fired rice made the takeout worth it, but alas, they left it out of the order.

Will we ever return?  Heck NO!  Should you add this restaurant to places to try?  Definitely not...Louisville has better to offer.

I was really craving some Chinese food and luckily this place is only one block over from my apartment. I wanted something quick, so I honestly didn't care if this place was fantastic.. as long as it was decent food.

The restaurant's a little shabby looking and is in a kinda-grimy area. The restaurant is counter service with a few booths and tables inside, and I was able to place an order easily. They've got a lot on their menu, and I went with the sweet and sour chicken lunch special, which came with fried rice and an eggroll.

The food's pretty good. Not super-sodium filled, but it's also pretty average to your mall-type Chinese. The sweet and sour chicken was different from the norm, it was completely breaded with the sweet and sour sauce on the side. Still not bad though.

Good for a quick bite, but no better than average.

This place sells decent, basic Chinese take out. It's conveniently located on Broadway, and at lunchtime, it's usually not too crowded. It might look a little sketchy to some people, but it's fine. On my most recent visit, all I got was some soup. It came out in about a minute, and it was delicious. I've never had a bad meal here. The prices are very reasonable.

I don't know what else to say. It's a basic takeout place.

Good service. They serve a big portion of food and worth my money. My favorite is combination plate of sesame chicken.
